Anyone know which store has sriracha in the Mclean Vienna falls church area?
I need it for a recipe and haven’t been able to find it any stores ,
And on Amazon it’s so expensive.
TIA

All stores carry siracha. You have to get it in the mustard/ketchup/bbq sauce section, not the asian section. There are a bunch of different brands now, and a bunch of crossover brands (like siracha mayo). I think you were looking in the wrong part of the store.

Every store has it.

A few months ago there was word that there might be a shortage but I kept seeing it in stores the whole time.

I haven’t seen it in stores for months.

I’ve seen it in the Amazon Fresh store in the Asian section. I haven’t noticed a shortage recently, especially if you’re flexible about brands. Make sure to look in multiple sections though. I’ve seen it in the International section, in the aisle with the Ketchup, and sometimes faced out in a display.
I haven’t been to any Asian grocery stores though, so it could be worth checking beyond your regular grocery run.

True sircha brand has had shortages, but there are a million knockoffs now. Easy to find.

We bought a knockoff and it’s not very good. The shortage is apparently due to weather conditions that affected the supply of chili peppers, so no reason to think other brands would be plentiful or good quality.
