Bluey's house is just magical

Is anyone else super envious of Bluey and Bingo's house? It's enormous and beautiful and magical and the yard is lush and huge.

I know it's a fantasy show about talking dogs but I can't help being wistful and wishing I had a storybook house like that one.

I’ve been trying to put my finger on what I don’t like about Bluey and I think it’s that all the characters are basically good all the time. They might get mildly tired or irritated but they never have any bad thoughts or ideas. Whereas Peppa Pig has a lot of bad impulses, which I think is much healthier.

I prefer Daniel Tiger’s. The house itself is just okay, but the location!

I dont like how the parents let the games go on to the point where they sometimes negatively impact other people. For example, the dad played a game in a grocery store with the kids that basically meant they were super obnoxious to everyone shopping. They don’t teach the kids balance and empathy very well.

There’s a reason the most well respected kids’ shows in teach positive lessons. Bluey sometimes does that, but other times it shows the opposite.

There’s a reason the most well respected kids’ shows in teach positive lessons. Bluey sometimes does that, but other times it shows the opposite.

I think Bluey shows some of the most positive parent/child interactions I’ve seen in a children’s show. It is bizarre to me that you would be so hung up on how them playing an imaginary game in a grocery store would potentially impact the other fictional animated characters. Are you similarly upset that the show depicts dogs acting like humans?

They all have bad impulses that are appropriate for their ages. Bluey is bossy and whiny; Muffin tantrums pretty regularly and you can see in real time how her parents' different parenting styles confuse her and lead to meltdowns; Socks bites; there's a whole episode about a problem Bingo is having with a new kid at school who calls names; each and every kid loses their sh*t when Lucky's dad changes the rules to pass the parcel. I mean I could go on and on but if you prefer to watch Peppa knock yourself out.
