| My kids are really into ice skating this year. We went to the one in Navy yard and Smithsonian. Wondering which ones are your favorite in DC or northern VA? |

| Not sure it’s worth the trek from NVa but we like the one in downtown Silver Spring. It’s outside, free parking on the weekends, and there is a Starbucks right there for hot chocolate afterwards. |

Are you looking for a scenic spot with restaurants? Then Georgetown and Pentagon city, outdoors, walk to get lunch or dinner afterward.
If you want quality ice, NHL size drinks, we like Ballston Capitals Iceplex, because it's the closest to where we are, and it's a nice facility. |

Yeah this is the answer if you want to actually skate not just walk around outdoors in ice skates on terrible chopped up ice. |
