Hoping someone has a good idea for me… need to get a 3rd baby gift for someone very particular. Looking to spend under $100.
They already have one boy and one girl so no clothes are needed and they have the biggest playroom with every toy. Was thinking about something food related that the whole family can enjoy but they eat very healthy (ie all organic and like only snacks you would find at Whole Foods) and one kid has a nut allergy. My other idea was something for the two older kids who are 2 and 4. Any good ideas? |
| Do something for the older two kids—books are always appreciated. |
| uber eats or similar gift card, amazon gift card, you get the idea. |
| Nose Frida and maybe some infant medicine like Advil/Tylenol in a basket. |
| Why not get a special outfit anyway? |
| I’m similar to that family. I’d suggest an outdoor toy that they could all enjoy, maybe water table? My kids shared that and we have several. They’re prime age for it. After the youngest is 4 or 5 they don’t use it much anymore. |
| Just get size 2 diapers. |
i I also like to give diapers too and will often add a wipe warmer. Even if they already have one, a second can go in another location. |
| I have two kids, but if I had a third it would be nice to get a new infant toy as a gift- some of my things have been through the wringer at this point. |
| Target or Amazon gift card, so they can get something they actually need. |
| Uber Eats gift card so they can order dinner from wherever they want. |

They sound rich so a target gift card seems pointless.
I would do something small for the baby like a chewy teething toy that wlouldnt have been handed down, a couple nice picture books for the older kids, and maybe a bottle of wine for the parents. Or baby socks. Baby socks never hand down because there is a monster that lives entirely by consuming on sock from each pair. For some reason we got about five blankets with our baby’s name for our third kid. It’s a good thought but we got so many and they are hard to donate. |
I agree with all of this, but instead of socks, I’d recommend a nice pair of baby booties (the ones with snaps or Velcro). My kids always kicked off their baby socks, and I always lost them in the wash, but booties stayed on and I could keep track of them better. Another idea is an Aden + Anais burpee cloth. You can reuse those, but still nice to have a new one/extra one. Or an Uber eats gift card. |
| Definitely get something for the older kids - they’ll appreciate it. What does your “particular” friend like? I still appreciated special things for my third baby - an adorable newborn outfit, Aden + Anais muslin blankets, lovies. Those Zutano booties were the absolute best, too! |
| Classic fun books for the older kids-my go to gifts. Think Strega Nona, Caps for Sale, Harry the Dirty Dog, Curious George etc. |
