I have noticed this hairstyle is popular among women my age: Should I do this too? I'm pretty wrinkly in my eyes and forehead. And I still wear my hair long.

I wouldn’t. I did this for many years, and the bangs are really hard to manage. They look good only about 20% of the time. Otherwise they are frizzy or oily or just laying weird across your forehead. If you already have wrinkles the messy hair just makes the whole look…even messier. Plus you have to trim them monthly.
I’d suggest curtain or side bangs instead. Or do what I did and grow out your bangs entirely and just get Botox. |
Did what you did--minus the Botox--for the same reasons. |

Depends what your hair is like and what you prefer.
I’ve worn bangs for 40 years - its how I like to wear my hair. I’m 50+ now but don’t have many forehead wrinkles at all and could expose my forehead without concern. But I love my bangs, I tend to wear them gently curled and swept to the side. Not sure it qualifies as curtain, because it still covers my forehead but less blunt than the styles above |
Oh, and my bangs are not frizzy or oily but neither is my hair type. And I trim them myself, I’ve never liked how the stylists trimmed them. Trimming bangs is very easy, especially now with so many youtube tutorials. |

I love that hairstyle. I have a wavy bob with bangs now, but after watching Dead To Me I think I am going to try to grow it into Judy's style. (I love her clothes on the show, too.)
Bangs 4 life. |
