Usually this is a tool that Div 1 uses to tell athletes that they are likely to be admitted if they apply ED, coming out fall of Senior year. Since U Chicago is Div 3, this post makes no sense, since Div 3 does not use likely letters as a conference. They coach may tell you to apply and that he will push for you, but there is no letter. This seems like a troll post to generate reaction.
