Decluttering help

Does anyone know a company or individual that helps to declutter house without doing the professional organizing work? I am looking for somebody who can help a disabled homeowner go through piles and boxes of stuff that has piled up over the last few years and then help get the items for trash, recycling, and donation out of the house. The house is regularly cleaned so they don’t need a company that uses special cleaning protocols for hoarding situations. It really is that they can’t do the physical work of sorting through things themselves so somebody who can provide that assistance in an affordable manner.

I am also looking for professional organizer recommendations for this home for after the initial decluttering. The organizer needs to have strong experience working to provide solutions that work for ADHD clients.

Why do you want it to be two different people?

We are looking for two different people because of cost. The organizers I’ve spoken to are over $100 an hour for one person and they have said it is common for them to see the house, make a plan, and then the homeowner does a lot of decluttering before they return and implement the plan. One said she has had clients who couldn’t physically do the decluttering themselves hire someone to do it.

This homeowner doesn’t need somebody encouraging them to get rid of things. They can’t physically do it and need help with it. They do need someone to also help figure out how to organize what remains.
