NIH Daycares?

We have heard things about the ridiculous wait list for the NIH daycares. (Like, multiple years.) Anyone have a feel for how accurate that is?

Why don't you call them and ask? If you find them to be impossible to reach then yeah the wait-list is probably impossible.

Yep. Still waiting, 2+ years later. And you're not allowed to get on the waitlist unless you have a due date, which begs the question of who exactly is getting the infant spots?

I never even bothered. I think most of the infant spots go to people who have older children there already.
