PSAT score for Sci and Tech Program

| Does anyone know what is a competitive score for PSAT 8/9 to be accepted into the Science & Tech Program in PG, if the GPA is 4.0? |

Depends on the school. Flowers and Oxen Hill are less competitive than ERHS. IS the 4.0 weighted? My understanding is that they take the unweighted GPA when doing the calculation.
My friends kid has a 4.0 and a 1000 on PSAT and got into ERHS the first round. My other friends kid had a lower GPA (3.5 ish) and a 1100 and got in ERHS the first round. |

Its a pretty low bar as far as I can tell. Too many slots county wide have diluted the program to the point where lots of very average kids get in. If they want to have a notable program, they need to raise the bar and slash admissions.
