Cannot get film off glassware. I’ve even tried soaking with vinegar. Help

Is it lime scale?

Your glasses might be etched, caused by too little detergent/hard water or too much detergent/soft water. If so, there ism nothing you can do to get rid of it.

I bet you might be right. I’ve tried CLR.

Agree. We had to get rid of some glasses recently because of this - we'd tried everything.
