| DD in elementary tested positive but is asymptomatic. I've searched everywhere and can't find anything about learning while she is out for five days. I've already written her teacher for work but is there really nothing for the kids while they are out? Ughhhhh |
| I don’t know the policy but I’m guessing it’s no different from when you’re out for 5 days with the flu. You make up the work when you get back. |
You can ask the teacher for stuff and get ahead of the catch up, but that's if the teacher has bandwidth to send it. |
| There has never been help or make up assignments when sick. |

She’s in elementary school. I would not worry about schoolwork. Y’all should just focus on getting well.
And thanks for testing and keeping her home |

ES parents argued that their kids couldn’t possibly learn if not physically in the room with a teacher so the Zoom office hours/tutorials available last year to secondary students weren’t extended to ES.
Those seem to no longer be available for MS. Perhaps because MS teachers are so occupied with providing emergency coverage that they can’t be available to Zoom at the appointed time. |
| They had zoom last year for ES, and it was terrible. Just ask teachers for the assignments and your DC do them at home. |
