We pay $220/year through State Farm.

I have the same question, but in DC. Thanks in advance!

I pay $450 in Mont. Cty through Erie Insurance. Not sure why it's so expensive... I only have a part time (16 hours) nanny. I think I'll check around for other policies.

We're paying $460 in MoCo also through Erie for our nanny working 24 hrs/week although I believe the rate is about the same for FT.

DC: State Farm. Many other carriers will not write it in DC. You may have to have another policy with them for SF to write it. I am not sure. My DH insures his motorcycle with SF and they do the workers comp, but we have most of our coverages with another carrier.

I'm the first Erie PP, and my understanding is the policy is per worker, regardless of the number of hours worked (like next poster said). Also I did get a quote from IWIF (insurer of last resort) and it was around $700!
