Quarter grades in high school transcript

What will the colleges see in the transcript? Quarter, semester or full year grades?
In MCPS, is the GPA calculated from the quarter grades or are the quarter grades combined (rounded up) into semester grades, A+B=A? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you. |

| Semester grades are on the transcript. All HS classes are semester-length. The quarter grades are averaged together and in most cases rounded up, so A + B = A. |
