DC plates transfer

| I bought a used car for DD at a dealer in PA. I am trading in her car. Do I take those plates off and turn them into DC? Will I get temp tags from the dealer? |

Yes take the plates off. You have to notify the DMV you sold the car, there’s an online form.
Hopefully your dealer will provide temp plates, otherwise you have to get them from DC. |
