Make sure to check out Tastespotting. Amazing - it collects all of the blog recipies. I could spend forever looking at it.

food52.com ROCKS all of them!
i used to read every single one of previously mentioned blogs, and not i really just go to food52 for inspiration and knowledge. i have learned a lot and cooked so much out of my usual comfort zone - can't say enough good things about this site. LOVE IT.

20:54 OP here. Me, too. I also like thekitchn.com. It's more beginner foodie, but I've found some great recipes. food52.com is great for the community. Did you try the addictive asparagus?
Anonymous
have not tried the addictive asparagus, but we're going to do merrill's fish tacos this week, and we love love love the naptimechef's chocolate bundt cake. yeah, food 52!

The addictive asparagus is delish, and easy to work around. I used carmelized red onions instead of leaks, didn't use any orange, etc. Read the comments before proceeding to see what works for you!

OP again.
Here are a few blogs from local woman.
This local woman (not sure of her name!) puts out a lovely food blog. She's getting married this weekend, so posting might be light for a few!

Cookbook author/instructor Monica Bhide has a lovely website devoted primarily to Indian food.
monicabhide.com
She writes the column on spice for the Post.
Finally, Pati Jinish, the chef at the Mexican Cultural Institute, has a terrific blog, too.
