Is this a computer program starting threads?

Each one of these threads starts the same way: the first post has the content of the article copied, then a link to the article.

Interestingly, those threads are all from the same poster and all link to a Yahoo! news article. Looking at other posts from that poster, the vast majority, if not all, of their threads follow the same format. However, the links don't all go to Yahoo!. Some go to other news websites. I don't think it is automated, but just someone who likes that format for starting threads. I guess there is nothing wrong with it other than the poster might make it clearer that most of their text is quoted from the article.
