s/o phone thread. Is there a phone with an easy press Record Button?

For our mom to record conversations with doctors that she can't remember later.

make sure to get doctor's consent. it's illegal in some areas.

Does your mom have a health portal? My mom got me added to hers (not easy -- you have to go through several steps including online identity verification) but it's been great. Every conversation she has with a provider is fully documented, along with all test results and future appointments.

Make it easy, just use the mother's login & password.

Yes this works, too. My mom added me so I could ask questions of the docs as well.

Download a voice recorder app and put it on the Home Screen of her phone. Or buy a small recorder. Or you can also see if she and her doctor will let you listen in by phone (assuming you are available). All will require her to remember and her doctor to be willing to cooperate.

The portal suggestions are also great and could supplement.
