You can also just simmer the cheese rind, perhaps with parsley, in water — and use it as a broth.

I tried that with a whole bunch of parmesan rinds and the broth tasted like water. So disappointed.

lol my freezer! DH found a bag of them and was like WTF is this. I said you know people always say to save the rinds but then never know what to do with them. good post OP
