The Senate has the chance to pass a widely popular bipartisan bill that would ensure pregnant and postpartum people can get workplace accommodations (like light duty, extra breaks, space to breastfeed) but thus far, it hasn't been prioritized for a vote in the Senate even though it has the votes to pass and already passed the House of Representatives with overwhelming support in May 2021. A group of maternal health and civil rights orgs including the ACLU, A Better Balance.
