Check your school’s naviance - DC is a double legacy but decided not to apply after looking at naviance. (They have a 1510 Sat/ 4.39 gpa )

Great school ! Excellent chance for an offer of admission based on 1510 / 3.8/4.3. not sure if still need aware, but full pay should be a positive (even need-blind reviewers look up zip code avarage household income).

I'm aware of someone with similar stats who was denied ED2 last year. Full pay.

This is meaningless without identify private/public and county if public. For instance, grades likely too low coming from some MoCo high schools.

Naviance showed DC needed a higher SAT to get in and they did not want to take it a third time. At least that’s what it is showing for our specific school.

Higher than a 1510 for Washington University? Isn’t that the average there

College board says it’s between 1490-1570, so 1510 is still on the lower end. For ED2 DC is looking for more of a sure thing

Is ED2 harder than ED1

DS admitted ED1 to WUSTL with 35 ACT and a 3.7 or 3.8 from a rigorous DC private. Strong ECs but nothing national level. He's very happy there.

The key above is that your DC attended a private school. We can’t compare a 3.7 from that to DMV public school gpas.
