ParentVue/StudentVue question

What does a dash mean when it appears next to an assignment. This is for a high school class. So, for instance:

Assignment Name
Due Oct 30 at 11:59pm Oct 30 at 11:59pm
-/10 pts

vs.

One that has a dash but ALSO says "Not Yet Graded," so:

Assignment Name
Due Oct 30 at 11:59pm Oct 30 at 11:59pm
-/20 pts | Not Yet Graded

There are also assignments that have 20/20 (or whatever points out of 20), which i assume means graded. I'm trying to help my DC make up missing work, and I can't tell if it's only the "Not Yet Graded" assignments that count, or the ones with the "-/10" or similar.

Teacher here. I’m not exactly sure what the StudentVue interface looks like but I think you are seeing this:
-/20 assigned but not due yet (or not submitted)
-/20 Not Yet Graded means it is submitted and not yet graded
20/20 is graded

If the assignment is online, the student should be able to click on it to see submission status.
