Frozen burgers?

Anonymous
I love veggie burgers, and am vegetarian. My son greatly dislikes all veggie burgers, and is far from vegetarian. He will happily eat vegetables, so that’s not the issue.

Any recommendations for good quality (organic, certified humane, etc etc), frozen beef patties that I can keep on hand for him? I usually make a Whole Foods run every couple weeks, so if sold there it would be ideal.

Thanks!

I always have a sleeve of Costco hamburgers in my freezer, for when college son comes home with friends and they all want burgers

+1 for the Costco burgers. I don't eat meat, but my husband loves them. I don't know if they are "organic, certified humane, etc etc"

Why do they need to be organic, certified humane? What strange criteria.

If someone regularly shops at Whole Foods (like the OP), they may be looking for meat that meets that criteria. Nothing “strange” about it — many of us take these things into consideration when purchasing meat.

Farmer Dan Heartstone Farm
We have boxes shipped from Maine. They do pre-made frozen burgers.

They go on sale regularly. Get on their mailing list.

Also send a 10 pound box to older relatives on a budget for their meatloaf etc.

If someone themself is vegetarian for humane reasons and is forced to buy meat for someone else, wouldn't you think the'yre going to choose the most humane route possible?
