What about stuffed peppers? Ive had delicious polenta-stuffed peppers and cous-cous stuffed peppers.

I don't know if it is "impressive" but roasted kale is seasonal and lots of people don't know how to cook kale. This recipe is easy and delicious:

Here's an amazing recipe for asparagus.

T I'd try it first. The second time I made it, I used carmelized red onions instead of leeks, and no grated orange.

10:55 again. Roasted radishes are all the rage. Divine! Not heavy, either.

I LOVE roasted kale. I just learned how to roast it recently, and everytime I've made it people have raved about it. It is so good and crisp and light. Even my 5 year old ate it after I called them kale chips. However, i found it tastes best right out of the oven, so if you are bringing it for a potluck, or if it has to travel covered, forget it. Might wilt.

How about grilled portobello mushrooms marinated in worstershire sauce. Not pretty, but tasty.

I made this dish last night, and it was sooo good. I made it with leeks, thought that was a great addition. This is going to be one of my go to dishes for guests. Thanks for posting it.

This recipe is yummy, but be warned it makes your house smell. The kale give off a rather nasty smell while cooking.
