Kitchen Cursed: Where can I purchase a pre-made turkey?

Anonymous
I am a lousy cook but an excellent hostess who loves throwing parties. I am having a Christmas party in a few weeks and want to serve turkey. Knowing my kitchen skill limitations, where is a good place to purchase a cooked turkey?

Like a full Turkey or a Turkey breast? The latter they have at Trader Joe’s.

Whole Foods has an excellent one. I just served it for Thanksgiving. It couldn’t be easier and it is delicious. It is fully cooked and comes cold, not frozen like a cinder block. You just heat it in the oven. For the size I got, the directions were to heat for 2 hours. I was worried it would be dry. Nope, perfect.

This sounds like a good idea. How many people did it serve?

Fresh market also has a great full turkey that's pre-cooked.

If you are willing to order sides and appetizers, get a local catering company to do it.
