Went to see this yesterday because I love the director and of course, Timmy C. (sorry not sorry). I usually can’t stand gore so I was really nervous about this one, especially since I had to go watch it alone (my DH reaaallly hates gore). Anyway, mixed feelings on the experience, wondering if anyone else has seen it yet. Impressions? It seems to get a really divisive reaction online, love or hate, but I was kind of in the middle. Loved certain scenes and found portions of the movie incredibly moving but as a whole it just didn’t seem to hang together for me.

It did seem to fall apart but overall was a hard to swallow movie.

I also feel like the trailers had a surprising amount of crucial plot points so I kind of knew what was going to happen already and this is not a movie with a ton of plot as it is—OP
