Bringing pumpkin pie—should I bring 1 or 2?

Going to a gathering of 10 people. There will also be apple pie and some kind of cake, made by others. I’m responsible for the pumpkin pie. Would you bring one pie or two?

One

Does your family like pumpkin pie a lot?

Probably one, but it's not my favorite pie. I'd be fighting for a slice of that apple pie.

If you can bring 2, then I would. Any leftovers to be left with the host (unless they insist you take it home).

Bring the Costco pumpkin pie. It’s $6 and can feed an army.

Two. We are pumpkin people

One if there are other desserts.

Clearly the right answer is three.

Two

It’s better to have extra than not enough, somebody will enjoy the leftovers. Pumpkin pie is as integral to Thanksgiving dinner as the turkey, people should be able to indulge themselves if they wish.

2 if they are normal size pies. Cutting a regular size pie in 10 pieces results in pretty small pieces so might not be enough for a pumpkin lover.

2 so there are leftovers to share.

Anyone remember the early episode of Derry Girls and ordering Friday night chips? Can we get OP to carry 5 pumpkin pies into Thanksgiving dinner?

Make two bring one. Enjoy the other yourself. Pumpkin pie with whipped cream is a complete breakfast IMO
