Where have all the strawberries gone?

Actually, boo because I had planned crepes for breakfast and there wasn’t even an overpriced clamshell to be found. I tried Safeway, Giant, Walmart, and Aldi today. Yesterday, I tried Harris Tetter, Lidl, and Trader Joe’s. Plenty of other berries. Just no strawberries.

Save time and check the stores online websites first. The ones that allow pickup. Safeway giant walmart harris teeter. Search for the food.

Yup. Same here. I got a large box on Mondah and thought id get more today. Nope all gone from WF. And they were the good winter ones.

NP. I agree they are out of season locally, but we usually have strawberries in the store year round. It could be there's a supply issue for one reason or another. The ones at Giant are generally low quality anyway. I get them from Whole Foods.

You can always get a bag of frozen strawberries. They're only good for making compote and puree, but the flavor is there.

I think there was just a late shipment. There were a ton of strawberries on sale today.

In the winter, we eat different crepes (usually banana, ironically enough) because the strawberries usually just are not very good out of season.
