Cogat for older kids?

My kid is in 8th grade and need to take Cogat test next month for placement in a magnet school. they have taken Cogat in elementary school and scored high without any prep, but it has been a while.
Is it worthwhile to spend time preparing for the test? My student really want to get into the program, and Cogat is only a small portion of rigorous selection process, other component being MS Grade/PSAT/Portfolio/Interview. Is there any books/websites that are helpful? |
