Better to buy a car before Jan. 1 or wait until after Jan. 1?

| I’m perfectly happy to buy a 2022, or even a used 2021 if it’s in good shape and has some kind of warranty. Is there an advantage to buying before versus after Jan 1? Or is the car market so crazy now that it doesn’t really matter? |

Yes we got a good deal—it was actually Jan 1 but they were counting it in their prior year numbers. That was 1/1/2020 though. |

| Probably before so they can get credit for 4 and the year. 2023 are out though. I doubt you will find a 2021. |
