| Which one is a better value, considering both cost and quality? |
| Rag FTW. |
| Store brand from Wegman’s or Costco. But I currently have the Viva brand and they are nice too. |
|
Viva has a weird thick texture I don't like. Costco store brand is just like Bounty imo.
Also, I put a little hamper under my sink and try to use fabric towels for anything that won't absolutely ruin them. Working ok so far. |
| The new package of Bounty I just opened from Costco is terrible. Thin and scratchy. |
| Neither is a better value compared to other options, but I like the texture of Viva — and if I only use them to wipe up water or something like that, they can be reused and even rinsed and reused. |
| I like Viva because I feel like their "tear a size" sheets are smaller than the Bounty ones so it is less wasteful. But I have no empirical evidence to support that. |
Yes, I rinse and reuse Viva sometimes. |
|
I live in CA & have not seen Viva for years in the store.
I purchase Bounty paper towels + think they have the best quality over all others. Bar none. |
| +1 for Viva here - like the select a size too. |
| If you’re just looking to save money buy shop rags. They’re basically paper towels just a lot cheaper. |
| Bounty — they have select a size, too, and they are thick and absorbent and can be reused (they don’t fall apart the minute they get wet). Viva doesn’t seem as strong. |
| Sparkle. |
| I've used Bounty for years, and I hate those "select-a-size" ones with a burning passion. I wouldn't mind, but the regular ones are becoming harder and harder to find. |
| Viva, hands down! |
