Thanks! |
Laura is incredibly experienced and talented using zoom to help. She did several virtual visits with my first at the height of the pandemic, and then did both in person and virtual recently with my second as we struggled through tongue tie. She is incredible and takes insurance.

Thank you! |
specifically virtual https://www.instagram.com/motherlylove_lactation/ |
Susan Howard is extremely good at what she does and is VERY good at virtual visits. She has all sorts of systems in place and they work incredibly well, in my experience.
https://www.arlingtonlactation.com/ She also has free twice weekly support groups that can be a great way to start getting some advice fast (still recommend a 1:1 visit as well but this is a great support system). In-person or on Zoom. https://www.arlingtonlactation.com/classes-and-groups |
Isabela Lessa at the Breastfeeding Center is very good. |
I know you specifically asked for virtual but just wanted so share (incase you’re a FTM and this is helpful) that one of the things a good lactation consultants will do is bring scales and weigh the baby before and after a feeding to tell you how effectively they’re feeding. Obviously this can’t be done virtually. If not helpful disregard! |
If helpful, when I met with Susan Howard virtually I asked on my neighborhood listserv and borrowed a scale from a friend to use for a few weeks. Agree that can be very helpful depending on the issue. If you go in person to Susan’s support groups she also has a scale there so you can do a weighted feed during group |
