Hope it’s okay to post promote our tutoring services here:

We offer private art lessons (both casual and for art school portfolio prep) at our studio over in Gowanus (about 5 min walk from Carroll St station on the F/G, 7 min walk from Union St station on the R). We are two educators who are also artists, and have over 10 years of experience teaching art courses in higher education as well as portfolio preparatory institutions.

We have worked with students to help them get accepted into their top schools of choice, a few examples being RISD, Cooper Union, Stanford, SVA, Parsons, and Pratt on the undergraduate level, and RISD, UPenn, Hunter, and Parsons (with a 70% scholarship) on the graduate level.
