| New here and looking for good outlets. What’s the most similar to Woodbury Commons? Looking for some higher-end brands, not only a GAP factory (although wouldn’t say no to the Gap, obviously). Want to relive my glory days and go on black Friday. Thanks! |
| Leesburg |
You Can’t Go Home Again- Thomas Wolfe. |
| Honestly I would just go to Tysons or T2. Most of the outlets are really great deals. |
| Woodbury commons? |
| I like Tanger Outlet by National Harbor and MGM. |
I like this too and it’s closer, but Leesburg really is better. Anyone trying to compare current outlet malls with outlet malls of yesteryear, now is going to come up short. |
| I like Potomac Mills. |
| You just inspired me, op. I may hit up an outlet mall too. I live off of 270 but haven't ventured to Hagerstown Premium Outlets in years. I think I'll pay a visit. I'm done with the Prime Outlets in Clarksburg. I never find anything. |
Could try the Gettysburg outlets. May be closer than Hagerstown. And no sales tax on clothing in PA! |
| I know this an old thread, but Potomac Mills (indoor), Leesburg (outdoor), Clarksburg (outdoor) and National Harbor are the local options. |
| I think these outlet malls are all a type of regular mall, not really a place with overstocked merchandise. |

I hate walking in and out of shops in the winter. Roasting hot one minute then cold again.
I would do Potomac Mills in VA or Arundel Mills in MD |
So much has closed at Hagerstown! I couldn’t believe how empty it was when I went a year or so ago. |
| I used to love hitting the outlets in Freeport ME, but they’re basically all gone now. It’s just not how brands liquidate stock now. The era is over. |
