quick marinades for shrimp?

I would like to do a simple marinade for some shrimp with stuff I have around the house.
I have all of the basic staples, and I can go to the grocery store across the street( very convenient) for a few things.

I have large shrimp(16-20 c), and I'm making a NY strip steak with it tia.
Any tex-mex ideas would be awesome.

Try light italian dresing.

Honey or maple syrup + lemon or lime juice + cumin, paprika and chili powder + salt and pepper.

My favorite is tomato paste, red wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, garlic and oregano. The tomato paste gets crispy and sweet on the grill!

how much of each? I was thinking of making shrimp kabobs sometime this week.
