Looking for recommendations for Inexpensive Unlimited Data CellPhone Plan for Single Person

A work colleague has just moved back to the United States after many years in Japan and is asking me for advice on where to purchase cellphone unlimited data plan for her self. She is hoping to spend less than $50/month. She does not need internet, just cellphone service.

I purchase a family plan from Verizon and I have no idea where a single person should go to purchase one line. Any advice would be appreciated!

Single person here, and I pay $25 flat per month for my unlimited plan with Visible. I have zero complaints and still can't believe I have such a bargain given how expensive everything is now.

Oops, what I meant is she only needs cellphone service with data, not TV or wifi for computer connection in her home.
