Personal Finance class?

Does this class count as a math credit? Asking for a rising senior who doesn’t want to take statistics. Thanks!

Is it a new class? They used to have a math class called Quantitative Literacy which covered personal finance.

They still have quantitative literacy.

Does it have a course number starting with 'MAT'?

Quantitative Literacy A MAT2032A/MAT2032B

I think those types of classes are great for kids to have, before they go out in their own. My kid’s school would not let her take Quant Lit initially. (She was in an advanced math track, and they sort of reserve it for kids who are not strong but need to check the Math box). Finally, as a senior they let her take it. The teaching was not amazing but it covered credit, budgeting, loans, etc
