Early vote count results have been posted, but no precincts are reporting yet. So interesting early vote outcomes based on those results. Based on early vote count, races of note to DCUM: - Silverman is losing, but it’s close, just about 1300 votes behind McDuffie (Bonds is far away ahead) - Goulet has a strong lead and should win for BOE - Keith Mantel is losing his race for ANC commissioner (seems a lot of GGW endorsed ANC candidates are also losing in Ward 3) Live Montgomery County results here: https://elections.maryland.gov/elections/2022/general_results/gen_results_2022_by_county_16.html Nothing to report as of yet. |

Oh yeah, on the VA side Vega has what looks like a strong and insurmountable lead over Spanberger with 82% reporting. |

How does the AP calculate and project winners like Wes Moore with just 1% reporting?
(Genuine question out of curiosity and not because I’m upset. I didn’t want Cox and was confident Moore was going to win. ) |
