Live DC Results can be seen here: https://electionresults.dcboe.org/election_results/2022-General-Election

Early vote count results have been posted, but no precincts are reporting yet. So interesting early vote outcomes based on those results.

Based on early vote count, races of note to DCUM:
- Silverman is losing, but it’s close, just about 1300 votes behind McDuffie (Bonds is far away ahead)
- Goulet has a strong lead and should win for BOE
- Keith Mantel is losing his race for ANC commissioner (seems a lot of GGW endorsed ANC candidates are also losing in Ward 3)

Nothing to report as of yet.

Oh yeah, on the VA side Vega has what looks like a strong and insurmountable lead over Spanberger with 82% reporting.

Looks like DC updated and all precincts counted: Silverman lost!

Not official yet but the margin is 4000 votes.

How does the AP calculate and project winners like Wes Moore with just 1% reporting?

(Genuine question out of curiosity and not because I’m upset. I didn’t want Cox and was confident Moore was going to win. )

It's surmountable since they haven't reported early voting from Prince William County yet.

Still have to count mail-in votes, but with the lead from early voting it is difficult to see Silverman having any advantage in mail-in votes.

All the smallest rural places report first.

Elrich winning early and mail in with 77% of the vote. Sorry, Sully is not going to win 80% of ED votes.

LOL you must be new here. Virginia counts absentee ballots last and they always hugely favor the Dems.
