What to get 13 year old boy who is sporty and likes video games...yeah, like most of them

My son is turning 13. He likes sports, plays soccer, and likes video games. I have a tough time getting him interested in other things, but I want to try. Does anyone have any gift ideas? Small things ($) and biggish things ($$$) are both fine. Nothing crazy like a Cannondale bike or a new iPhone. But $100 jersey is ok. His gaming computer is low end but works just fine and I don't want to encourage more computer stuff...unless it's something that helps him learn about how computers work or something. Any awesome books? Clothes that 13 year old boys are into? Thank you.

It’s so specific. This is exactly what I bought my nephew. My son would never wear them and just wants more hoodies. Neither crocs or hoodies help with new interests so I’m not much of a help.

Something cheap I put in his stocking that he uses all of the time - different size cookie dough scoopers. Mine likes to cook and makes all sorts of things with them. Of course, they also work for ice cream.

Dick’s sells cheap (often 2 for $20) fleece sports blankets, including a soccer one. My kids love them.

A new pair of the Nikes the kids all are into these days. I know a recently-turned-13-year-old and that was his favorite gift this year. I think they were either Air Force 1s or Jordans.
