In home Provider seemed great, but so inexpensive??

So, I know I should be thanking my lucky stars (and I am!!), but I am left questioning how it seems that what seemed like a GREAT in home provider I met with is so inexpensive for infant care. She has several helpers and teaches a preschool curriculum to the older children in the morning. The babies seem to get lots of holding and personal attention. She teaches bilingual (spanish) and was very receptive to me wanting to use signs with my infant and me bringing in a few flashcards or posters to assist her helpers in knowing them. She is of course licensed and has been for 4 years with the county, etc. Most of all I just felt comfortable with her.

Anyways, she is in VA - technically Fairfax county though just over the edge from Falls Church - and yet she seemed so inexpensive at $250/wk. As a DC resident I decided to look at other areas around my office instead since it seemed maybe that would help broaden my choices, but I still haven't found someone this inexpensive thus far. Am I crazy to be second guessing her b/c of price? Should I just be grateful that I found someone good that I can actually afford now?

Oh, and to all those wondering....yes, I could tell you who she is, but I must first secure my own spot....you know how it is...sorry.

I have a great in-home provider as well and full-time care for my infant is $950.00/per month. I've been very pleased with the care and my son is well taken care of and ALWAYS seems happy.

that is less than a daycare center (for infants, not necessarily toddlers) and less than some inhome daycares but not so inexpensive i would question it.

OP here - ok, good to know that it is not so far out of line as to what some have found. I guess my searching in DC and arlington just led to some really high prices initially so this seemed so inexpensive in comparison. Thanks for feedback.

I visited an in-home daycare in Arlington that was $135/week and it was AWFUL! We pay $200/wk in outer Fairfax county. So, I think that $250 sounds about right for Falls Church.
