Cancelled our Vida gym membership during the pandemic, finally coming out of our basement (LOL).
Equinox and Washington Sports Club are the nearest gyms. Is equinox worth the $$$? We paid a pretty penny for VIDA, but with new CoVid waves coming anytime, wondering if we shouldn’t spring for the expensive gym just yet. We also spent $$ on a home gym but I think I need the social interaction a couple times a week. |
It's worth it. Haven't visited yet, but yes it is. Try free trial day, spend 5 hours there doing the free spa stuff, all the equipment and classes you are interested in. Why ask this question on board with various incomes and exercise interests? |
If you like group classes they have several really good instructors. Otherwise, I don’t know that it’s necessarily better than a cheaper option. |
If you do the group classes, it’s definitely worth it. |
I use WSC Dupont, and it is 100% fine. But I go at off hours and don't do classes. Depends what you do, I guess? |
I'll put in a plug for my gym, Lifetime, because they don't do annual contracts so you can quit with a month's notice, at any time. |
My company is enrolled witty Gympass so I purchased the platinum option and that allows me to go to either Equinox or Lifetime. I only have to pay 40% of the actual cost and I can cancel Gympass at anytime. I prefer Equinox because the facility is even nicer than Lifetime, and you don't see kids at Equinox. The women are also better looking at Equinox. |
Yes, I think that lady is a member. |
