Recs for bathroom remodeling

Hi! Can anyone recommend a design/build company to redo a bathroom? We're looking for a company that will work with a reasonable budget, about $15K for a smallish full bathroom.

Also, has anyone attempted redesigning a bathroom themselves by picking out the materials and hiring a firm to install everything? How did you find someone to do it, and how did it turn out? I have a pretty good idea of what I want, but I'm hesitant to try to manage this project myself as nearly everything needs replacing.

I used a great person who did my kitchen and my bathroom. He lives in Lothian MD but will travel in a reasonable distance. For the bathroom I picked everything out and he installed it. He recommended a tile place to use but the rest of the interior was all me. His name is Rob Adams and his website is http://www.adamsrenovations.com. He's had his own business for over 10 years but working on kitchens and baths for much longer. He's easy going and not into pretentiousness. I highly recommend him!
