| Do you have any reccomendations on how to spend it ($150)? Bonus points if it would be part of our Thanksgiving dinner...but does not have to be. |
| Isn’t Russ & Daughters on there? I’d get brunch spreads for the morning before thanksgiving dinner! |
Adding...we are pretty set on our thanksgiving basic recipes so I do not want stuffing or cranberry sauce additions. We do not have a set dessert tradition so that would work or something less typical as a side. |
Our family travels the day of so brunch is not part of the event but thanks! |
| Prantl's almond torte. So good: https://www.goldbelly.com/prantls-bakery/15395-burnt-almond-torte?ref=search&search_id=71887576 |
| We get Essa Bagels about four times a year through them. |
| +1 I send these to my kid @ college twice a semester. Essa Bagel ship very well and they’re the most reasonably priced |
| Pizzeria Bianco. Soooo good. |

Soup dumplings? We moved to the midwest and haven't found a good place here (yet, maybe -- we also haven't really tried). But this is something I'm craving and also have a GC to spend. Would love a recommendation.
Also, thanks to the PP with the brunch suggestion. It might not work for OPs family, but sounds great for ours. |
| I haven't sent anything that wasn't well-received. Particular favorites have been Ina Garten's Coconut Cake, Georgetown Cupcakes (easier for me to send via GoldBelly than to call the store), anything and everything in Duff Goldman's store. I was online earlier today and there were some great looking pecan pies and other types of pies for Thanksgiving! And lots of cookies! |
| I wish 20th Century Cafe was still open. The honey cake was to die for. |
| Smoked sable. |
| the banana pudding from magnolia is amazing |
