Internships related to Linguistics/Comp. Ling

Hi I have a junior who is interested in Linguistics/ Computational Linguistics. She is racking her brains what internship to do. Wrote to a few profs who work in CL locally but no response (not surprised). She is wondering what else to look at for internships that might tie in with her interest. Any thoughts? She is a bit beat after not hearing back from any one so wanted to see if I could give her some suggestions. Thank you!

Look for jobs in machine learning or AI.

See if Duolingo has any internships available or reach out to see if they could "create" an unpaid opportunity for the student for a J-Term or summer and seek funding from the university.

Shoot, I guess I couldn't tell if your kid was still in HS or not, but "creating an opportunity" may still apply. We live locally and know kids who have reached out to do unpaid summer internships with Duolingo or have contributed to new course content or served as a forum moderator.
