…and are all way healthier than my mc/umc peers in the us.
What gives? Is it literally just working less and walking more — diet, working out, hydration don’t matter? |
They are?
I dispute your premise. |
They’re happier and less stressed. They have universal health care. |
This. |
It's all the walking. Our sedentary car-dependent lifestyle is terrible. Plus we eat far more processed foods than they do. |
It’s the food supply in Europe. They don’t eat food doused in Round-Up and micro-plastics. |
Do they inject artificial sweeteners into everything? |
Maybe in the 1970s sweetheart, but your info is way out of date. Most instances of obesity in the world - U S of A. Sorry. |
They walk a lot. |
? Did you mean to reply to someone other than OP? |
I was thinner when I smoked and drank Diet Coke.
Lol they don’t walk more. Heath is not measured by weight, they are not healthier because of their diet they are healthier because of the way their food is processed. |
Check out the 20 page thread in this forum on the us food supply— it’s basically the same question |
It's all the walking. Plus portions are much smaller. Literally impossible to buy too much at the grocery store - very few sweets, etc. |
They eat less for the most part, work less, stress less (so less stress eating) and walk more. None of this drive for an hour commutes. Long commutes sure, but on a train, bus, bike, walk. And eat a lot less sugar. There is sugar in everything here because of cheap corn. Fresh bread in france doesn't have corn syrup added. |
What everyone else said. Plus the smoking keeps them thin. |
