When do MAP results HAVE to be shared with parents?

Anonymous
By what date do teachers HAVE to share Fall 2022 MAP report results to parents by? I ask because at our elementary school it’s been entirely different what each class is doing with some teachers having meetings 1:1 with parents to go over results and other parents not getting any information yet. My kindergartener received his results at the end of October in ParentVue. My 3rd grader still hasn’t received her results. Is there any deadline that should be observed or do parents just need to ask the teacher for results directly?

They don’t have to be shared at all. I’m sure the general practice is to share the score if asked by the parent. I always review map at IEP meetings.

We already have MAP math score for first grader, but there is no MAP reading score. When do they have MAP reading score? Did they do reading assessment for first grader?

Our first grader went up last week, third grader today.

Central office has been slowly uploading them to ParentVue accounts under the "documents" tab. Some schools are getting them posted before others.

How much money is MCPS spending on communication and I still have to come here to get important information like this?!?

Ours is finally on ParentVue.

When my kids used to take the MAP-R, it would show the score at the end of the test. I would ask my kids to remember it and tell me when they got home. I’m assuming the math version works the same way, but my kids didn’t take that one.
