cycle after failed ivf

I'm taking a break after a failed IVF but I've been reading some stories about how some cycles after an IVF are ridiculously long. I'm wondering if that is true across the board--or just an unusual case. Anyone have thoughts on this?

My cycles were about 4-7 days longer after a failed IVF. Sorry your cycle didn't work -- this process is so hard.

You're darn right it's hard, my first cycle failed and my next cycle was longer than usual, it's like your body is prolonging the disappointment.

I am sorry to hear that; it is the worst. My cycle after a failed IVF was a little heavier than normal, but I don't remember it being any longer.

Yes , my cycle after my failed ivf was like 10 days late.I think is the body readjusting after all those hormones.Hang in there, the witch af will show up eventually.

My cycle was normal, maybe a day late due to getting off the progesterone.
