Non-aerosol, soft-hold hairspray recommendations

Pantene Airspray was my favorite, but no longer seems available. And with all the benzene-containing products being recalled and concern over propellants, it seems a good idea to move to a spray.

I have fine hair with waves and curls that frizzes like mad and either grows big & wild or flattens to my skull with any humidity. The Pantene spray was great for controlling wild hairs while in buns or braids, and didn’t leave it too crunchy.

Tried Aveda’s curly hair spray. Sticky and heavy.

What do others like?

It is expensive but I have had the same bottle for 2+ years now. It was recommended to me by an NYC hairdresser once when I splurged and went to a fancy salon there.
