Hotels safe in Glendale near Pasadena?

Anonymous
I get a wee claustrophobic in hotel rooms at like 3 a.m. I’d prefer a room with a window or balcony that opens (would lock it just like knowing I can open it). Any suggestions? The hotels with balcony look a bit crappy but I prefer the option to open window or door.

Glendale is suburban. There's nothing sketchy anywhere near it.

This is not the land. This is Glendale.

Where in Glendale are you looking, OP?

(my experience with Glendale is that it is not sketchy, however; I'm not familiar with the whole city, which is why I'm asking)

I booked in Pasadena old town. Just paid a bit more to get my open window. Thanks!

Where did you book, OP?
Asking because my brother lived in Old Town for years so I'm familiar with the area
