Anyone done ear tubes recently? What doctor did you like?

I've received conflicting opinions and information from the pediatrician and ENT regarding ear tubes. It seems my son is a borderline case. 20 mos, 4 infections in 6 months, only required antibiotics once and has not missed much school. Usually 1 or 2 days of fever and then it clears. However the ENT did note some minir canges to his ear. ENT said to watch and wait, but also said to schedule the surgery. (He was unclear and rushed.)

I didn't like this particular ENT and would like to set a follow up with a new one in a few months to see how my son is doing then. Would like any ENT recs who have helped you make this decision and were generally great.

I'm definitely open to the procedure but also not in a rush because the infections thus far have not been very disruptive.

We are also getting ready to do the ear tubes. Overall I like our ENT. We see Dr. Preciado, who is with Children's. We see him at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia. He has a good bedside manner and I thought he did a good job of explaining the procedure. However, when we were in there recently it was clear he did not remember meeting us just two months before, but then I guess he meets with a lot of families.

Thanks! I'll check him out. If anyone else has ENT recs, please share.
