SWW evacuations

This is ridiculous. 2 back to back days of evacuations due to fumes from an unidentified source. No answers on how the problem is going to be addressed and the communication from Admin has been too delayed. DCPS needs to get on this, what a mess.

It is a sewage issue - and communications from SWW is always like this.

I actually found the communication to be pretty good, particularly on Friday. I think they were waiting to have more information today and then sent a pretty long email this morning. What more were you expecting?

Buildings are a DGS issue, not DCPS, and not the SWW admin. In fact, communication has been exemplary, and so has the fire department's investigation been. DGS (General Services) is a hot mess. Weeks to get an elevator working, weeks to address issues with doors, weeks to put the science lab back in operation, and no doubt weeks to fix the smelly plumbing reflux.
